Facebook loves changing things up. Always innovating. Always aggravating. Most of the changes in this last round of page alterations should be loved. But you might hate a couple of them as well. Tell us what you think in the comments.

The 7 Changes To Take Note Of

  1. Photos featured
  2. Tabs moved under profile photo
  3. User comments are more heavily weighted
  4. Likes of other pages and admins can be featured in sidebar
  5. You can get email notifications of posts and comments
  6. You can comment on the page as your personal profile
  7. You can use Facebook as the page, commenting and liking on pages you like, viewing a news feed of pages you like and getting notifications as a page

    The biggest issue with the new update is that everyone can see who the admins for the page are. This eliminates the feeling of anonymity with who updates fan pages, because everyone can see who does the updates for the page.

    Interesting. I don;t like that the posts are not organised by time anymore That can be misleading and a problem for pages focused on delivering time sensitive information. Secondly, I’m wondering what happened to the option to choose which page/tab (Welcome, photos, wall etc) users see when they land on the page.

    One of the best tools is the new photo reel. Instead of being recently added photos, they are all random every time you visit the page. Some people have already started using this as a marketing tool. Like, seeing if you can get three of the same images in a row on Short Stack Labs FB.     They will only see the administrators if they’re Featured Admins. Otherwise, they cannot see who the individual administrators are. Though when you’re logged in as an Admin, you will see them in the top right. That’s an Admin view only.

    I have uploaded pictures into my home page “photos” and sorted them into several albums. I also have a business page because I crochet.  How do I move pictures or albums from home to my crochet page photos place?

    what happened to the “videos” tab under “photos” in the Favorites? I used to be able to see all of the latest videos and nothing else. Now it looks like the photos and videos are combined in one big mess. I just want to look at videos. Why, why do they feel they have to constantly screw with stuff?
