Will you be posting the presentations from the speakers on this site? There are several I'd like to see.
  • markwilliamschaefer
somebody aksed me if i am attending the Sunday night networking event. I don't seen any mention of this anywhere on the website. is there an event?
  • Is there something with more detail on the sessions than the above?
  • We just updated the Google Calendar schedule above.
  • GeorgiaElmore
Any idea if the speakers will be targeting presentations for small- to mid-size businesses? It seems like so many panels, webinars, conferences focus a lot of content on large, corporate clients - which often have MUCH larger budgets for marketing activities than smaller firms or agencies.
  • Great question. A few points here...
    - We bring in several big brands to speak, but their lessons can be scaled down for sure. Keep in mind it is more about strategy and less about the tactic, meaning it is about HOW you use the tools and less about the tools or how much money you have to throw at them. If anything time and staff are the true barriers.
    - Many of our speakers have worked with and/or in small business and will be able to speak to examples and lessons more relevant for that ecosystem.
    - We allow plenty of Q&A time for speakers and all Q&A time for panels, so you are provided plenty of time to ask the questions that are most important for your perspective. We also layer lots of networking that allows you to take the session topics and discuss them in detail with peers. This is where some of the real learning takes place anyways.

Let me know if I can add any more details for you.

When will we know the TOPICS that the speakers will present? I care more about getting information relevant to me than who the speaker is, so I can't make a decision on whether (or which) to attend until such information is available.
  • Thanks for the comment. A good portion of this information will be posted later this weekend. A preview of some of the panels:
    - Social Media B2B Panel
    - the ROI of Community Panel
    - Real Twitter Success in Business Panel
    - Corporate Blogging Panel
    - Social Media in the Music Industry Panel
    - Speaker Topic: Branding in Social Media
    - Speaker Topic: the Future of Connectivity, Email, RSS, Google Wave

More to come. Thanks so much for the feedback.
