We are very excited about the Social Fresh Cruise Attendees. The ultimate value of the cruise is the incredible quality of the attendees. To showcase that value we will periodically be “interviewing” our attendees so that you can get to know each other prior to cruising! Don’t you just love social media!

For our first interview, we were drawn to L. P. “Neenz” Faleafine. Neenz was one of the first who registered, is the chief evangelist for Alltop, and is coming from Hawaii!

*10 second elevator Bio*:

Neenz: Bred, born, and raised in Hawaii I am the Chief Evangelist for leading news aggregation site Alltop and the founder of social media marketing startup Pono Media.

*What gets you excited about Social Media? Or Why are you so passionate about social media?*

Neenz: To me, social media is a mashup of traditional print, water cooler fodder, stoop chatter, coconut wireless, and tin cans on a string that can be delivered in a heartbeat using innovative technology. In a coconut shell, social media is communication. And, we’ve learned that effective communication involves keen listening, and keen listening will create action.

I have made a commitment to myself to continue to learn and never cease growing as a person. Social media is new and refreshing, I am learning and growing along with the industry — these are very exciting times to be involved.

For more than 15 years I’ve been building communities as a Project Manager for multi-family properties. Social media allows me to build my communities globally — that alone provides enough excitement to keep me motivated!

Neenz: First, I’m honored to have been invited and appreciate the opportunity to learn from the facilitators and other attendees.

Second, even though I live in paradise, I love to travel! I love learning about other people and cultures. One of our goals as parents is to show our children as much of the world as we can. Social Fresh Social Media Cruise satisfies many of my passions.
