<p>The Social Fresh Cruise 2010 will depart from <strong>New Orleans, LA on December 2, 2010</strong>. We will be on the Carnival Triumph headed to Cozumel, MX. The key to the success of the 2009 Social Fresh Cruise was our awesome list of attendees. We look forward to welcoming most of them back in 2010. Although the popularity and awareness of Social Fresh Cruise has grown tremendously since last year, we will keep the number of attendees manageable to keep the intimacy of the of the event.</p>
<p><strong>Social Fresh Cruise Sessions:</strong><br />
Many of the 2009 Social Fresh Cruise attendees felt like they could learn more by working together to a solve problem(s). Plus, most of the attendees are presenters at Social Media Conferences throughout the year and they felt like we could offer a more unique experience from the Social Fresh Cruise Sessions. We loved the feedback, so the 2010 sessions will include planning a Social Media Campaign/Strategy for a charity, facilitated roundtable discussions, and a Keynote from Chris Brogan.</p>
<p><strong>Bon Voyage Tweetup.</strong><br />
In 2009, one of the highlights was meeting the Miami Social Media Community at the Bon Voyage Party. This year there will be a Bon Voyage Tweetup in New Orleans on 12.1.10, so that we can meet the New Orleans Social Media Community in person.</p>

<p>You have to invest time and money in activities that get you face to face with key people in your network. You build real relationships during the face to face activities. We are excited to announce that <a href="http://twitter.com/chrisbrogan">Chris Brogan </a>will do a Reverse Q&#038;A, <a href="http://twitter.com/gregcangialosi">Greg Cangialosi </a>will be presenting the Future Interconnectivity of Email &#038; Social Media, <a href="http://twitter.com/ambercadabra">Amber Naslund </a>Building ‘Real’ Communities, <a href="http://twitter.com/jakrose">Jason Keath </a>the future Democratization of specific Industries facilitated by Social Media (a similar panel Jason is pitching for SXSW made it to #8 on the Hot List).   <em>The subject matter on these may change slightly as we get closer to the Cruise!</em></p>
<p>To insure that the content is valuable and relevant to everyone sailing on the Social Fresh Cruise, attendees will pitch Session ideas, Q&#038;As, Panels, interviews, etc. for the remaining 4 sessions. With the cruise being 4 months away, those of us organizing the Social Fresh Cruise have been pretty busy with some cool stuff that is not-quite related to the Social Fresh Cruise.  But everything that is going on gets me excited about the cruise because all of this effort will be focused on the cruise as it gets closer!  Hopefully, it gets you excited about the huge potential of the Social Fresh Cruise! </p>
<p>So what is so exicting?<br />
If you haven&#8217;t noticed, Chris Brogan is usually busy and is always working on exciting projects.  This past week has been extremely exciting thanks to <a href="http://bit.ly/buy-ta">Trust Agents</a>, Chris Brogan&#8217;s Co-Authored book with Julien Smith going on sale!  Of course, the Social Media Community is assisting in making this book a best-seller.  </p>

<p>No doubt Jason Keath, founder of Social Fresh, has been busy!  The <a href="http://socialfresh.com">1st Social Fresh Social Media Conference</a> hosted on August 24th, 2009 in Charlotte, NC has sold out and has a huge waiting list!  This shows the strength of the Social Fresh Concept that will be taken from land to the Sea on the Social Fresh Cruise!  And of course I am looking forward to the great learning and networking at the 1st <a href="http://twitter.com/#search?q=%23sofresh">#SoFresh </a>Conference, now only 3 days away.  </p>
<p>Lastly, the <em>Cruise</em> in the Social Fresh Cruise (that would be me) was working hard on my recent <a href="http://flickr.com/cruisesource">Hawaii Cruise</a> and can be found in this recent <a href="http://tr.im/ABCruise">ABC News article on the Myths of Cruise Vacations</a>&#8230;</p>
<p>Unlike other conferences, you have to register for a Cruise further out in advance because cruises always sell out and we are competing for the remaining cabins with the rest of the public. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I posted the question on Twitter to Social Fresh Cruisers: How many cruises have you been on?  I was a little surprised that most of the responses back were that Social Fresh Cruise will be their first cruise.  It is exciting to me that social media networking is drawing our attendees to test out cruising for the first time.   As long as I have been involved in Social Media, I have thought that Cruising and Social Media are like Peanut Butter and Chocolate, two tastes that taste great together.    Cruising is the most social form of vacationing with the nice sit-down Dinners, Entertainment, Casino, etc.  and on the Social Fresh Cruise we will have the most social people on the web.   Another draw to the Cruise for first timers is the <a href="http://twitter.com/amberportercox/status/2821208128">incredible value as @amberportercox pointed out</a>.  </p>
<p>We have not heard from everyone on the answer to the question, so Social Fresh cruisers please respond to @SoCruise with the number of cruises you have been with the <a href="http://twitter.com/home#search?q=%23SoCruise">#SoCruise HashTag</a>.    If you have an invite code and have not registered yet because you&#8217;ve never cruised before…don’t be scared, most of the Social Fresh Cruisers appear to be excited to be going on their first cruise!   </p>
