		<description>i think you missed one of the biggest ones which is to simply &quot;look cool.&quot;  little research has been done here, but i would presume that people make a cognizant decision to check-in to some places, while not broadcasting their location in others.  The fact that they put it on their wall for everyone to see is in many ways advocating the location they&#039;re at and conferring status in their social circles.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m so sick of this excuse. I liked your blog post though, it was funny and does bear some truth to it. But, for the most part, if someone wants to find and kill you, they are going to do it regardless of Foursquare. We basically live in public at this point and if someone doesn&#039;t know where you are via Foursquare, I am sure he/she can find you (or at least find places you like or things you like to do) via a myriad of other sources online.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Just my 2.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Cheers,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;@NickRovisa</description>
